Compared to a smooth surface, the surface shape of the dimple creates turbulence at a lower speed, which reduces air resistance by surrounding it with a layer of turbulence, and at the same time reduces drag, achieving a "long flight". 

Flights are less likely to come off than conventional L flights!
Dimples are made of a thicker material than conventional L flights, so even when combined with a resin champagne ring, it is possible to set the flight so that it is difficult to come off.
